There are lovely views over Bakewell to the hills beyond.

Bakewell is a lovely old market town in the centre of The Peak District. Famous for it's Bakewell Puddings, it has many interesting shops, good places to eat and several pubs. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the country or for getting outdoors and walking, climbing, cycling or just exploring! 

Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are nearby and the surrounding villages such as Ashford in the Water and Eyam are very pretty. The Monsal Trail and High Peak Trail are popular with both walkers and cyclists and there are many other beautiful walks in the area to choose from. The Derbyshire Dales such as Monsal Dale, Dovedale and Lathkill Dale are outstanding places to visit.
